Morphology, taxonomy, and phylogeny of megacerines (Megacerini, Cervidae, Artiodactyla)
Giant deer or megacerines (tribe Megacerini, family Cervidae, order Artiodactyla) dwelt in Eurasia from the Late Miocene puro Holocene and durante Africa in the Late Pleistocene. Based on comparative morphological data and morphofunctional analysis, morphogenetic and ecogenetic trends mediante this group are improved. Classification, taxonomy, phylogeny, and geographical and stratigraphical ranges of megacerines are revised.
